Thank you for visiting the Home Tactics Inspection Services website. We are licensed professionals that specialize in providing high quality home inspections in Maryland. Our top priority is making sure that home buyers are informed of any and all major issues with the home they are planning on purchasing before settlement. With the combination of advanced tactical instruments and well-trained eyes, we exceed the national standard for home inspections. You can rest assured that you will be in good hands with Home Tactics Inspection Services.

We are also certified to test for Radon, which is an odorless gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US right behind tobacco products. Some counties in Maryland are classified as a “Zone 1” Radon risk, and require Radon testing with every home sale, so check with us or your realtor if you are not sure if you need one.

Buying a home is one of the largest purchases that most people make in their life. So let Home Tactics Inspection Services inform you of any safety issues or major repairs needed, as well as give you peace of mind for the future of your home.

The owner and operator for Home Tactics Inspection Services LLC is Chaz Shipley. I am a Certified Professional Home Inspector as well as a Certified Radon Tester. I have always had a keen eye for spotting safety hazards, and have potentially saved countless lives and injuries in my former career. I am no stranger to home improvement either. I grew up watching and helping as houses were being built from the ground up, which gives me an advantage as a home inspector. I am familiar with every major system of a house, so I can usually tell if a system is about to fail, although sometimes systems fail without warning. But as with all home inspectors, I can only report on what I see at the time of the inspection, and cannot guarantee that systems will not fail in the future. I am very thorough in my inspections, but also efficient, utilizing the time allotted effectively. I encourage my clients to follow along, and enjoy educating people. My inspection reports are detailed and professional, so even if you cannot be present during the inspection, you will still know about any deficiencies that I find. I hope to do business with you, and look forward to meeting you.
